The University of Saskatchewan, as represented by Purchasing Services, is requesting Proposals for the fabrication and provision of a Glovebox-Integrated Evaporator System including on-site installation, commissioning and training in accordance with the specifications and conditions stated in the Request for Proposal documents.
The requested Glovebox-Integrated Evaporator System is designed for the fabrication of organic solar cells. The System should be entirely Glovebox based, in order to prevent device degradation due to atmospheric oxygen and humidity. All processing, fabrication, and testing steps for the solar cells should be done inside the Glovebox. This includes: (i) spin-coating of polymer thin films from organic solvents; (ii) physical vapor deposition of metallic thin films (e.g., Au, Ag, Al, Ca, LiF or similar) through an appropriate shadow mask; (iii) integration with existing photovoltaic test equipment. The existing test equipment includes a Sol3A solar simulator with upward-directed beam, QE/IPCE measurement kit, PV-IV system, and silicon reference cell (91150V) from Newport/Oriel.
